Time is of the essence when responding to a injured or orphaned bird of prey. If you find an injured or an orphaned bird of prey please reach out to one of our numbers 501-615-0226 BRC main line or at our Wildlife Hospital hotline 501-615-0261. 

If you are able to send us a photo and a location to either WhatsApp number so we can respond to the scene immediately.

If you are able to put the bird into a box. Please do not offer any food or water and put them in a quiet location so they can calm down. Lots of noise and light will cause more stress to the bird. If you are not able to pick up the bird, but can put a laundry basket or a box over the bird that is the next best thing to prevent them from being attacked by a stray dog or cat, or flying away injured.
