Rehabiliation

Rehabilitation

Injured and orphaned birds of prey are cared for by our skilled and compassionate medical team, which consists of veterinarians, rehabilitators, and interns.

All birds are rehabilitated with the goal of release back into the wild. Young birds that come in are raised in a controlled environment to stop them from imprinting on humans.

Of the treatable raptors we receive, more than 75% are released back into the wild.

All of our rehabilitation work is made possible by our supporters!

K. Brown awards us a yearly clinic grant through our 501c3, which allows us to purchase much-needed state-of-the-art equipment for our avian clinic, such as, blood chemistry machine, an Isoflourene machine, incubators, a centrifuge, x-ray machine, and much more. As well as many of our supporters who send donations through our Paypal button, specifically for rehabilitation needs.
